Introduction

Crafting a Digital Impact Agency

As of January 2020, Rocket55 has been in business for over 11 years. Throughout that 11 year time period, Rocket55 (R55) had never really taken the time to create a position in the market that was unique, and memorable. Because of the ever-increasing competition in the digital space, as more agencies start to adopt digital offerings, we needed to make sure that our position in the Minneapolis market was solidified.

We needed a new rallying cry for all of our employees, and a message to send to our clients and competition. Something that we hold in our values, and what we are dedicated to standing for. After some brainstorming with my coworker, and Chief of Strategy, Tyler Hetland, we came up with a distilled phrase of what R55 is and what we do – we make Digital Impact.

R55 employs many differenty types of people to ensure we can offer holsitic digital marketing. By getting everyone on each team excited to create Digital Impact, everyone began rowing in the same direction, inspired to make an impact daily.

📣 A new voice for a growing company

One of the biggest challenges was to find our voice. I led workshops with leadership to help us find our voice, bringing consistency (and a dash of attitude) to our message of impact.

😎 Brand Emboldening

I worked to bring out the confidence of who we are and what we offered. We’ve been in the biz for a while, and it was time that our brand portrayed that expertise.

Brand Identity

Born in digital – molded by it.

Rocket55 has always been a digital company. Unlike many other agencies that merely adopted digital, Rocket55 was born in it, molded by it. Because of our Bane-like affinity to the digital world, we needed to show our roots and expertise in order to continue to grow and make our presence known.

The original concept I had for the brand featuring a presentation heavily inspired by cyberpunk digital interfaces.

With our newfound confidence, we looked at streetwear for inspiration, opting to create our own a lineup of bold apparel designed to be walking billboards for our new brand
